1415 Laramie

The appartment building here wzs not very lavish as it was not very used, the pipes broken, almost all of the were messed up or had soem kind of problem with them and also the fact that on the out side it looked like the place was blown up many times in teh past. But there is one appartment room that was clean and had no problems at all. This was were Emil and his mother lived this was either a stroke of great luck or something else but either way this room was perfect and fit every need possible, no problems happened with it at all and it always stayed perfect no matter what happened.

The iving room seemed slightly used yet had that always constant 'brand new' smell to it having a normal TV and also a large couch with few lazy-boy chairs on the side. the windows had curtains and with a red velevit shade color while the kitchen was right nex to the living room, seprated only by the counter that over hid the oven, there was white tiles in tis part of teh apparment while the carpet for teh living room was crimson but a lite variation of te color.

Finally there was the two rooms, one for Emil and his mom, his mom's room was nerv really explored in great detail but he knows she has a large queen sized bed with brown oak wood dressesers for her clothes. Emil's room had a nice sized bed over in one conner of his room while having a long standing mirror next to his brown dresser, he also had a computer stand up with his decktop on it as well as a small closet that had just a few clothes not many sence he rarely put on to many things. he had no posters on the walls but pictures of diffrent things around the city, to add his carpet was just like the living room's.

Xavier walked into his home with a small sigh and tired expression, of course he could get over being cold but wlaking form one end of town to the other was not something he liked, but it kept him healthy. Looking around he called out for his mom, but no answer, she must have been at work still, not paying much attentio he went to the fridge and got some soda, full of suger so he could relax for a while now. Next he ploped himself on teh couch to watch some TV, knowing that nothing was really going to be on he watched the news for anything.

"Today locals in new york were surpised to see a mutant in the subway, but not just any mutanat two of them that were assisting in the rescue of a small child form being ran over on the tracks. More details at 11..."

Xavier was very abosrbed in this but knowing he was not there and the fact he walked insted of used his money to get on teh subway made him annoyed. "Gah! I missed it...*sigh* well theres always next time, not like I'm not used to seeing this sorta stuff almost everyday" He mentioned to himself as he chugged down the rest of his soda and went to get washed up in the bathroom, maybe he would go on the roof later to just look at the skyline again.

Emil was soon as clean as he could possibily get for now that is, coming out of teh bathroom with a nice smelling breath and also as nice smelling bod. His hair was still a bit messy and wet as he put on his shirt and began drying his hair with a towel, getting on a jacket he wnated to see the skyline at night, with binoculars it looked nice, especiall if he pointed them in the direction of the main city, alway haveing a great view to him that is. Getting ready for the cold he grabed his keys again and a few snacks, he would be out there for about an hour maybe, first thing first was locking his door behind him. He reall didn't know why he did this when no one lived in the building except them which was very convinate, he liked staying in one of teh other rooms for a night or two even if it was much more suckish than hiw own it was a nice change of pace.

Then he began to head down the hall to the upper fire escape, leadin strai to the roof, climbing it he opened the rusted latch that kept the snow from coming in and climbed his wya to the room with relitive ease. getting a few minutes to set up his small little hang out spot with a tarp which was normally there with some sand bags pilled around it to make 'walls', he was done, the hang out spot looking more like a small world war to camp out post but with the lack of jungle. Taking his binoculars up he began his survaying of the area. "Looks like a nice and calm night here on the roof tops of N.Y.C, its cloudy yet nto to much when over the shore line, the lights are all up as always and giving off a nice view of the city from this distance." he narrated as he smiled, enjoyiing his small comentary.

Emil contneud to examine the skyline, it was dark so he could barely make out most of the buildings as well as the people hat walked around during the night, he sighed to himself as the view was nice but he was increasingly bored. "*yawn* I wish things would be more intresting sometimes, this 'simple life' thing has its perks but this really is boreing..." He was thinking out loud, course this was one of those fleating moments where he wanted to do something more than this but he never got the chance. Slotching on his chair he watched the wind blow by, something seeemed to almost smack him in the face, it was more money, not that he didn't mind the extra cash he always wondered why he was so lucky.

"Another 20 dollars? well this is nice haha...if I wasn't this lucky I dont know what I would do, guess be normal" He smiled to himself, placing the additioal money away for now as he looked at the side of the building. Getting ready to to go back inside as he colletced his things, this really gave him a small thing to think about as he stood up and walked to the edge of the building, looking over it. "I still have those thouhts, wondering if I could be lucky enough one day to do something great...but...I'll just have to live with being normal." He said staring out, the moment passing yet again as he thought of himself as normal once again.

Emil slowly went down the latter yet again coming inside to get warm again, especially after a while out-side just watching the black and slightly illuminated sky-line. His hair was slightly wet as he neglected to ware a hat, as well as he seemed to sniff a bit, hinting that a cold was slowly comin on from that but he would get over it ater some tea and maybe a few other things as well. Closing the roof hatch he turned around to see that his mom was walking up to the appartment door, giving off a small smile and wave to her as he ran up.

"Hey mom, uh how was work? your home a little early"

"Well it was fine but not as fine as you will be when I hurt you for going up there again, what did I tell you? you could fall or anything could happen to you up there"

"like getting picked up by a gaint bird or something, it'll be fine mom, besides super villains take over the city all the time, the hero's will handle it if we get inslaved or anything or become some kinda of alien creatures"

Emil had a small laught form that line, so did his mother as she opened the door and went inside, causally droping her bag on the couch as she let down her long hair. "what ever the case I just want you to be safe please...I worry for you" She said with a gaze that looked more or less like a deeply concerned mother figure, Xavier waved off the deep feelings as if it was nothing for her to worry about. "dont worry I'll be fine, plus worrying so much will give you head pains, try to relax a bit ok?" he said with a smile, happy to know he was cared for but she was over reacting.

She nodded, only getting on putting away some of the food she made from later as well as heading to her room as she gave a few notes before she would subsequently sleep soon. "Emil take out the trash pleas,e its pilin up and the place smells like fish" She said with a smile, looking at him one last time before closing the door and heading off to get soem sleep. Xavier slouched a bit, groaning as he was just takin off his out-side clothing, but now that he was told to he might as well get it done. Going over to teh trash can he gave a "ok mom..." in a mostly bored sounding tone as he picked the back up from its sides, tied it into a knot and hualed it up, it was heavey. "ugh, would I would do for super strength..." he said as he began walking to the door, heading out to the ally to get rid of this.

Emil was already heading up the stairs of his appartment as he looked around, thainking about what the winged woman in the back of his mind. She seemed so in pain and just full of untrusting vigor that it really made him think about how mutants and people with powers were treated in this world, though soem respected and adored others were chastised and hated for who they were and probibly wished they never had there 'gifts' in the first place. Going to his door yet again he opened it and walked in with yawn, he was tired now and more than likly his mom would not ask him to do anything nor would someone actually happen unless Dr. who-ever showed up to enslave man kind again, he ws going to sleep and get some much needed rest as he changed and got into bed.

With a grogy and subtile yawn Emil began to wak up as he rubbed his eyes, looking around his room as he streached he seemed a lot more chipper, and also it was a nice day too. Wondering what was up with teh change in weather all of a sudden he shurgged and got up with a brust of energy, this was setting up to be a great day now. After getting dressed and washing up he grabed his jacket and looked over at the fridge, getting out some orange juice and drinking almost half as it seemed liek he got extra the day before, odd, but he wasen't complaining. Getting his keys he headed out the door, going down the steps as he felt really good "Wow I never felt so good before, this might be a really good day" he said, stepping out of his appretment he remebered he needed to find a ob and it just so happened that a flyer rode on the wind and danced aroudn in front fo him. Grabing it it was for a position for a bakery shop, he was good at baking, and could probibly get the job if he hurried, running there now.

Emil soon made it home as he got to his apartment complex and went inside, looking at his watch for a moment he could see that he had about a hour to really get ready before he would go out again. Taking out his keys he opened the door and went in, locking it behind him as he got ready for later. Going to the bathroom, he got washed up, thinking about the day with Nelsha, it was really awsome, especially good becuase of seeing Nelsha and soon going to see her again. He never would ahve thought he would meet her again after all this time, it really brought a smile to his face that he seen her again. Getting out of the shower he began to put on his clothes, getting on nice things of course as he placed on another jacket and made sure to have the tickets, with that done he took his keys and left out the door heading to Nelsha's house.

Emil came home not to long after coming from Nelsha's house, walking up the steps he opened the door and came into his apretment. Still thinking bout getting his own place he saw a small flyer on teh ground near his door, it was for a building that was going to be availible, it also had a nice rent and what not. Smiling he was getting almost everything he wanted but with a price of 34,000$ it would be a while before he could lease it but after a while he would have it and buy his own little house. Going in he took a nice long shower, and got dressed, laying down and getting a good nights rest.

Waking up the next day he yawed and looked around, today was another day but it seemed like it would start out well "Oh yeah! I have work today" he remebered the events of yesterday, he was really happy no as he got dressed. "Bye mom I'm going to work, I'll be back later!" He said out as he ran out the door, coming back only to get his keys that he forgot before leaving once again.
