Tom-Bo's Diner on 35th Avenue

The building was retro red and metalic with big glass windows and silver onings to keep the weather from the customers. There is a bar with about 8 or 9 stools waiting on customers. Around the building sets red booths. The floor has a black and white checker pattern from burnt orange wall to wall. On the walls were various things, from odd wall ornemits to black and white photos of famous poeple who's eaten there before. Bathrooms were in back and next to a collection of gumball machines was a retro jutebox ready to be played.

Emil's hearing perked up to Nelsha's grumblig belly, it made him smile as they walked down the busy streets, even at night this area of town was very much lively. "Still hungry I take it, dont worry its right around teh conner" He said nicely as he was still aware of course, turning the conner he walked over with Nelsha to a dinner. "Welcome to Tom-Bo's dinner, it's not the most visted place in new york but you'll like it. Lets go in" Opening the door for Nelsha, he let her go in first, trying to be polite as always.

Nelsha blushed a bit more from him mentioning her tummy, but she knew she couldn't help it she was hungry thanks to that rapid conversion she had to do before, and now really it was coming back to haunt her by making her tummy grumble, "okay thank you Emil" a kind smile on her face but her cheeks still a bit red from her blushing, as they walked over to it the place seemed nice enough and she smiled seeing it, "it looks nice, and sometimes places that are rarely visited can be good because you get served sooner" the smile still there as she blushed a bit more from him holding the door for her and she walked in

Emil walked in with Nelsha, looking around as there were a few customers but it seemed like they were just causaly waiting or enjoying the food. "Yeah, tahts another thing I like about this place, you get served in under 3 minutes" He said with a exasperated tone as he walekd up to the staionary bar area and sat on one of the stools as a man, namely the cook, came up. "Hey~! Emil, wha cha gona have tonight? Oh I see ya got a lady freind out with cha, nice ta meet ya!" He said with a smile as he tiped his hat and said "So wha da ya want?" Smiling as he cleaned a glass, Emil knowing what he wanted as he asked for "Uh lets see, a jumbo hot dog and fries, also you can put everything on it. What about you Nelsha?"

Nelsha walked with him the place did only have a few patrons but it seemed lively enough, or at least welcoming, one of those little jewels in the city that sadly few people knew about, she then finished looking around and followed Emil to the bar like counter and took a seat next to him smiling at him, then the cook walked up and greeted Emil apparently Emil comes here a LOT if he was that recognizable, Nelsha smiled at the man and waved a polite hello, he seemed nice enough, and polite too, when asked for her order she thought about something basic "umm..could Nelsha have...four large double cheese burgers with a side of fries, and a large cup of rootbeer please?" she asked blushing as she made her order.

The cook smiled and nodded "Sure, haha Emil you gotta stop starvin' your friends~!" he laughed, ringing up the order as he wnet to go cook it up. Emil Could only smiel as he looked over to Nelsha, she was ordering a lot and unless she was taking some to go he had to ask "You must be really hungry Nelsha, I guess the popcorn and soad wasn't that much but thats a lot. Keep ordering like that and Tom-bo will love you haha" he said, before adding "um its ok if you wern't hungry before I mean" Trying to make sure she dose not take it as him making fun of her as they waited.

Nelsha blushed a bit at the mans little joke and smiled a bit as he walked off to make the food, she was glad it wasn't to much trouble but she had sacrificed a lot of energy her body had been making so she needed to replace it, or she would simply need sleep, food was a good way to take care of that, when Emil asked his question she looked over at him and smiled, "Nelsha is hungry...sometimes....Nelsha is to busy working to eat all the time...and well today Nelsha was really busy but then you came and helped her, it made her get all the work done faster then she thought it would be done in but she still really hadn't eaten" she explained with a blush on her face.

Emil understood or gave a look as if he understood as eh looked at Nelsha's blushing face, fighting back from just wnating to hug the cute little girl as he nodded. "Ah ok, at least your going to get a lot of food now, oh yeah tell me about these last few years? after all its been like 8 or 9 years sence we spoke to each other" he asked, waiting still as it seemed like Tom was actually hlaf way done, working fast as always to get back to watching his Nicks game on the TV.

she gave that shy smile of hers when he asked about how she was and what had been happening "well..not much has been happening to Nelsha, her family had been moving around themselves because of her dads job and Nelsha had trouble making friends, but it was okay because she still had her hobbies to help her, it wasn't that hard because of dads work they where all comfortable but switching schools all the time almost from year to year was becoming draining, so her mother brought her here and they set down, her dad now travels alone and Nelsha lives alone in an old townhouse that they used to own, then she got the job at the backery and has been working there ever since" she smiled as she talked it was quite good to talk to someone again, someone that she knew anyway

"Ah that must be draining, I can see why your mom wanted you to stay in one place for once, and I'm definatly glad that place was here, I never knew you were only a few blocks away from me this whole time. Now were working tgether, insin't that something~!" He said with a very pleased expressin as Tom soon came over with Nelsha's food, looking over to Emil "Almot done with your's, it'll be a moment" he said as he must have ocused more on Nelshas order as he waved it off "Thats fine, well you have a nice little plate infront of you, try it out, I bet you'll like it~" He said as he looked at her expectantly.

Nelsha nodded a bit "it's very lucky, and Nelsha is glad it happened it let her meet an old friend that she missed a lot, if she had known where you lived she would have come to visit so that you two could have met sooner, Nelsha is sorry about that" she admitted as she rubbed the back of her head a bit, when her food arrived Nelsha's eyes where almost shining as she started to eat happily the burger was AMAZING and she blushed a bit as she heared Emil's comment but he was right it was quite good and she nodded to confirm what he said.

Emil smiled, seeing the shine in her eyes and finally eating her burger she could only nod to him as he understood. "Knew it~" he commented as it was not logn before his hot dog was here, scooping it up he thanked Tom and began eating, murring a bit as Toms hot dogs were always so good. Putting some fries on it as he normally did he ate it happly as it was stuffed with chilly, some cheese, pickles, relish, and ketchup for a perfectly made hot dog. "I wish the same thing, but now that we found each other we can..uh well hang out and be best friends liek we used to" As he said this a stray thought passed his mind about maybe being more than friends eventually, cuasing him to cluster as he didn't know if Nelsha would want that as he contneud to eat.

Nelsha giggled a bit as he gave his happy little 'knew it' and she continued to eat the first burger eating it faster then you would expect as she was quite hungry, when Tom came back she waved thanks to him and giggled again as she watched Emil enjoy his own food and make a rather odd sound, it was a cute sound too, it was quite the odd hotdog but it seemed to be filling as she moved to the second burger digging in with as much gusto as the last and nodded to him at his comment at being friends again and she swallowed "Nelsha never really stopped being friends with you" she said with a blush as she started to eat again.

Emil gave a warm smile to her comment, agreeing full to it as he took another bite of his very unique hog dog and also some freids as he gave off that sound again. "Your right, Nelsha" he said. Looking up at the TV that Tom always had on display he could see the game was going well for teh Nicks, up by 5 runs and it was the bottom of the 9th, not much the cubs could do now as it was getting to be a one sided game. Taking out a few dollars or his food he said to Tom "Here you go Tom-bo" But he seemed to refuse it, "No way, I owe you for that favor so you and your pal can eat for free, besides she's going to be good for bussness later, dont wnat to take all her money haha~" He said as Emil laughed and put his money away. With all teh events that happened tonight he practically spent NO money at all and was able to have a fun time.

Nelsha smiled as she enjoyed the burger that sound making her giggle a bit as it was really cute, the burger was finished quickly and as she moved on to number three she looked at Emil and giggled a bit glad he agreed, then she looked up at the game, baseball not really her game but she understood it enough to watch it and know what was going on, and it wasn't looking good for one of the teams, when she seen Emil taking out some money she was about to as well but then Tom stopped them and she looked a bit surprised, but smiled as she swallowed "thank you very much" she said to tom though she blushed at what he said about her being good for business.

Tom raised a cup of ear as in gesturing to her with a smile, "Dont mention it" He said before anotehr customer came in, going strait to him as they began talking, more so the man ordering and Tom just taking down what he wnated. Emil was alost finished ow, taking two more bites of his hot dog before it was gone and eating his fries as he siged. "Wow I feel so full, hows your burgers and soda Nelsha?" He asked with a satisfied expression on his face. "Oh yeah, its getting late, I think I should take you home after this" He said, not that it was a date or anything he still felt like taking her home after a night out doing stuff would be best.

Nelsha picked up the last burger and started to devour it a smile on her face as she was quite enjoying the meal and she gently moved the plate between them so if Emil wanted he could have some of the fries, it wasn't because she was getting full but because she liked to share, taking a sip of her soda as she sat with him "they are good, Tom does good work" she took another bit as she smiled at Emil, and she blushed brightly at what he said it was the way he worded it that didn't sound quite right and she turned a bright bright red.

Seeing her blush made Emil blush in contrast, probibly catchnig onto how he said he was taking her home, more so sounding like this was a get together sorta thing as he saw her share soem fries with him, happly accepting. "Thanks, and yeah that he dose haha" He laughed at bit as Tom's work was nice and tastey indeed, eating most of Nelsha's fries and all of his own he couldn't eat another bite as he took a ew to eat on as he got up form the stool. "Ready to go Nelsha?" He asked.

Nelsha finished the burger blushing a bit at how quickly she was eating and hoping it didn't seem rude, but she was still bright red from his wording, when he thanked her for the fries she nodded and took a few nomming on them a bit as she listened to him she was still feeling shy after what he had said but was still glad to be around him at the moment, "he is nice and friendly too....Nelsha can see why you come here so much" a smile on her face and then she nodded as he asked if she was ready to go "sure Nelsha is ready"

"Ok, bye Tom-bo, see you later and make sure you dont get to crazy with your bets ok?" he told him, waving to Tom as he smiled back. "Yeah no prob, I just know never to bet agasnt ya, tell your mom I said hi" He replied as Emil nodded, Opening teh door for Nelsha as they both left he began to make his way down te street, holding out his arm in a way for her to hook around it as he still seemed red in the face but was smiling. "Well, to home we go~!" He said with a playful expression about his tone and deminor.

"good bye..have a good night" Nelsha said to the man as she waved to him it was nice that Emil had a friend here, and it was nice that Tom was so nice too, and she blushed a bit when he opened the door for her again "thank you" a shy smile on her face again when he did so, she blushed a bit more when he offered his arm but she took it happily, it had been a rather great day so far and she was glad for that, it was a nice turn, when he mentioned home she blushed even more but nodded "yeah" a giggle escaping as she walekd with him quite happily
